Author Gian Sardar stopped by the Bunker to talk about her second novel, Take What You Can Carry, which is a fictionalized version of her mother and father’s trip back to northern Iran for a Kurdish wedding.
Fortunately, thier crazy dogs didn’t make an appearance as they discussed what happens when you’re writing a book about your family.

She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, son, and insane dog.
