Author Louise Mumford stopped by the Bunker to talk about her debut book, Sleepless, which is out in stores now. A former middle-grade English teacher, Louise struck gold after being discovered at a literary festival in 2019.
Her novel has since been optioned for television! But, she and Brad also took some time to talk about camping (!!) and the leap she took a few years ago to become a full time writer.

Louise’s debut thriller, Sleepless, a “frighteningly inventive” speculative thriller inspired by her own experience of insomnia, was published by HQ Digital in December 2020. It has reached the UK Amazon Kindle Store Overall Top 50 and has recently been optioned for television. It was the Asda Karin Slaughter Killer Read for July 2021.
Louise was discovered at the Primadonna Literary Festival in 2019.
She lives in Cardiff with her husband and spends her time trying to get down on paper all the marvellous and frightening things that happen in her head.
