Author Melanie Abrams stopped by the Jam Bunker to talk with Brad about her latest novel, Meadowlark. Melanie is the California-est of Californians—from the Valley in Los Angeles to living in the Bay Area with a stop at the banana stand along the way. (It’ll make sense when you get there!) But it wasn’t all Golden State talk. They talked children, getting waitlisted in grad school, teaching, and the joy of stories.
