Book Club + Happy Hour with Louise Fein (July)

Louise Fein

Sometimes a conversation stays with me long after I interview somebody on the The Downtown Writers Jam podcast.

That was the case with British novelist Louise Fein, whose book People Like Us (Daughter of the Reich in the U.S.) is out in May. We talked of her family’s escape from Germany in the thirties, her rediscovering a history she didn’t know, and staking claim to a voice about a place—and a culture—to which she is forever connected.

Join us for a multi-continent book club and happy hour as we discuss Louise’s work and her life as we sip on some wine!
