Author Simon Stephenson‘s road to novel writing was long and winding. After his brother died in the 2004 Thailand tsunami, Simon left his job as a doctor in the United Kingdom. He went to bring his brother home but ended up extending that trip several months.
Out of that tragedy came his first book, a memoir about his brother and the tsunami, and the re-start of his writing career, which took him from television to Pixar and now to novel writing.
He stopped by the Bunker to talk with Brad about his debut, Set Your Heart to Five.
