Ari Hovarnar

Author and activist Ari Honarvar stopped by the Bunker to talk about her novel, A Girl Called Rumi. She immigrated from Iran when she was young, and she’s spent the better part of her adult life using music, dance, and poetry to connect with refugees and people in war-torn regions.

She and Brad chatted about empathy and trauma, the importance of art, and the joy that you can find in life through dance and words.
